Job summary

SMRT Corporation Ltd invites applications for a Passenger Service Assistant role to deliver excellent customer service and support passengers throughout their journey, ensuring a warm, helpful experience at every touchpoint.

You will assist with safe boarding, look out for passenger safety, report incidents, and handle fare-related enquiries, with shift patterns rotating Monday to Friday and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• GCE ‘N’ level or at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Able to perform shift duties from Monday to Friday (weekends may be included)
• Ability to stand and walk station areas between 2 to 3hrs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates and educates passengers on safe boarding and alighting of trains
• Look out for passengers’ safety and security, and report any incidents or injuries
• Performs crowd control duties
• Assists passengers on fare-related enquiries
• Assists passengers during an emergency
• Carry informative signages during course of duties to show to passengers.
• Ensuring that the facilities, equipment and structure within the station premises are in good working condition and report to duty Station Manager if needed.
• Performs other duties as and when assigned by Supervisor/s
