Responsibilities

Stall Assistant

We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Stall Assistant to support the daily operations of our F&B stall. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, customer service, cashiering and general stall operations while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness and hygiene.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Various (We are expanding)
Salary: $2000-$3000

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily opening and closing of the stall.

• Take customer orders and provide friendly and efficient customer service.

• Handle cashiering, POS transactions and payments accurately.

• Assist with basic food preparation, cooking and assembling of food according to company recipes and SOPs.

• Portion, pack and serve food for dine-in and takeaway orders.

• Ensure food is prepared and served according to the company's quality and presentation standards.

• Replenish ingredients, condiments, packaging materials and other operating supplies as required.

• Receive, check and properly store ingredients and supplies.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the stall, food preparation areas, equipment and workstations.

• Wash and clean kitchen utensils, equipment and other operating tools when required.

• Follow proper food handling, food safety and workplace hygiene procedures at all times.

• Assist in monitoring stock levels and minimise food wastage.

• Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations, especially during peak periods.

• Provide support in other areas of the stall when required.

• Perform other duties related to stall operations as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

Job Requirements

• Prior experience in F&B, food stall, hawker, food court or restaurant operations is an advantage.

• Candidates without prior experience are welcome to apply; training can be provided.

• Able and willing to learn basic food preparation and cooking procedures.

• Customer-service oriented with a positive working attitude.

• Responsible, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

• Good awareness of food hygiene and workplace cleanliness.

• Physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods.

• Able to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays according to operational requirements.

• Food Safety Course Level 1 certification would be an advantage.
