Job summary

AMD Singapore is seeking an MTS Test Engineer to lead test and characterization for next-generation products. You will guide silicon bring-up, yield optimization, and test cost management while collaborating with Product, Design, Platform Engineering, and Foundry teams.

The role demands independent leadership, data-driven problem solving, and effective communication across global teams in a multi-project environment, with a focus on delivering robust test solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Semiconductor industry with DFT and ATE test methodologies.
• Functional test pattern development, pre-silicon simulation and debug experience.
• Experience with Mentor / Synopsys / Cadence EDA tools and Advantest 93k or T2K platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop characterization and test coverage strategies during pre-silicon phase.
• Establish pattern requirements and drive Design Verification deliveries during pre-silicon phase.
• Execute characterization and test plans on new silicon.
• Deliver optimized test and product definitions across PVT corners to meet business requirements.
• Interface with global teams across the organization on root cause resolution for device failures.
