Job summary

Fortinet in Singapore is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to own and operate the infrastructure behind FortiClient Cloud and FortiClient EMS. You will design, build, and run highly available cloud and on-premises platforms, spanning Kubernetes, physical servers, networking, and production operations.

The role emphasizes automation, observability, and modern platform engineering, including on-call participation, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable, reliable infrastructure platforms.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and cloud/hybrid environments.
• Strong automation and scripting skills (IaC, CI/CD).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure platform supporting FortiClient Cloud and EMS.
• Architect and operate highly available Kubernetes-based production environments.
• Design, deploy, and maintain physical server infrastructure and lifecycle management.
• Manage hybrid infrastructure environments across cloud, bare metal, and container platforms.
• Design and troubleshoot networking components and secure connectivity.
• Build infrastructure automation using IaC and modern deployment practices.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines for safe software delivery.
• Own platform observability and dashboards.
• Improve reliability through capacity planning and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with software teams to improve service architecture and deployment workflows.
• Lead technical initiatives and adoption of modern infrastructure technologies.
