Job summary

Equinix Asia Pacific is seeking a Product Software Engineer to design, develop, and operate cloud-native platform services and APIs. You will collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to deliver scalable enterprise workflows and services.

You will lead by example in secure, observable, and reliable systems, applying API-first design, CI/CD automation, and DevSecOps practices to meet performance goals across billing, pricing, and commerce domains.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating cloud-native applications.
• Strong knowledge of API-first design and scalable architectures.
• Experience with Agile development, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical strategy and execution for modular, event-driven microservices supporting enterprise workflows.
• Design and implement reusable frameworks for service onboarding, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Leverage Generative AI and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate software design, testing, and operations.
• Collaborate with senior architects and cross-functional teams on architecture decisions across enterprise domains.
• Promote API-first development, observability, and dependable DevSecOps practices.
