Job summary

POWER SYSTEMS R&D (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer in Kallang, Singapore to drive design from concept to production within power electronics.

The role requires deep expertise in power supply design, familiarity with topologies such as Boost, LLC, flyback, and experience delivering high-power products from prototype to mass production. Strong EMC and safety knowledge, plus proficiency with engineering tools like MatchCAD, SIMetrix, PSIM, and PADs are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in power electronics, electrical engineering or automation.
• 10 years design experience in power supply design for Telecom, Server, OBC, etc.
• Experience delivering mi-high power products from prototype to mass production.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics / power supply design and topology options.
• Familiar with AC/DC PSU EMC and Safety regulations.
• Experience with engineering tools such as MatchCAD, SIMetrix, PSIM, PADs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop power supply products from concept to production within defined requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet specifications, cost targets, and schedules.
• Make topology architecture decisions and oversee PCB layout, EMC, Safety, Reliability etc.
• Provide technology leadership and drive problem solving across development phases.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Staff Electrical Engineer located in Kallang, Singapore. This includes maintaining quality engineering programs, standards, and improvements within the organization.

What a typical day looks like:

• Responsible for project on design and development from concept stage till production within the defined requirements
• Work across functional teams to ensure product meet product specification, cost target, schedule, etc.
• Design concept decision maker, including topology architecture, component selection, PCB layout, EMC, Safety, Reliability etc.
• Provides technology leadership and makes decision on how to solve technical related problems so encountered throughout the development phases

The experiencewe’relooking to add to our team:

• Bachelor (or above) in power electronics or electrical, automation.
• 10 years design experience in power supply design (Telecom, Server, OBC ...), independent project design experience.
• Experience of mi-high power products' development from prototype to mass production.
• Strong Power electronics / power supply design knowledge, well understanding about popular topology such as Boost, Totem-pole, LLC ,flyback, forward, PSFB, etc.
• Familiar with AC/DC PSU EMC and Safety regulation,
• familiar with engineering tools such as MatchCAD, SIMetrix, PSIM, PADs,
• Self-motivated, passionate work, good team work
