Job summary

Ripple is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to build and scale the enterprise reconciliation platform, delivering world-class experiences for finance professionals. You will lead design, implementation, and maintenance across distributed infrastructure in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor engineers, set engineering standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to raise the bar on reliability, security, and performance using AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern dev practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing and operating large-scale distributed infrastructure.
• 4+ years serving as a technical lead mentoring engineers.
• 5+ years experience with AWS & Kubernetes.
• Deep expertise in Linux and Windows server environments and cloud infra on AWS and Azure.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible; scripting with Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
• Experience with Spark and MSSQL; high-volume transactional workloads, finance space; cybersecurity understanding is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to build scalable, highly available, secure infrastructure using Agile practices.
