Job summary

Ripple in Singapore is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to build and scale the enterprise reconciliation platform for finance professionals. You will lead design and implementation of distributed infrastructure across AWS and cloud services, and mentor engineers to uphold engineering excellence.

You’ll own containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and data workloads with Spark/MSSQL in a fast-paced, collaborative setting that values learning, inclusion, and impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience designing and operating large-scale distributed infrastructure.
• 5+ years as a technical lead and mentoring engineers.
• Minimum 5+ years experience with AWS & Kubernetes.
• Deep expertise in Linux and Windows server environments, with cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible; scripting in Bash, Python, PowerShell.
• Experience with data infrastructure and processing technologies such as Spark and MSSQL; experience with high-volume transactional systems, preferably in finance.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Able to drive engineering excellence through standards, processes, and knowledge sharing.

• Collaborate with wider teams on design, deployment, and continuous improvement of infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance to the team and own delivery of features.
