Job summary

Ripple Treasury Reconciliation team is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Architect to own the platform's infrastructure direction, architecture, and design, focusing on performance, security, and scalable integration of new technologies.

This hands-on role requires writing core foundational code, building reference implementations, and guiding senior engineers while maintaining long-term maintainability and cost considerations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience designing and owning large-scale distributed infrastructure
• 4+ years serving as a technical lead and mentoring engineers
• Experience building cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure
• Expertise with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and ArgoCD

Responsibilities

• Set and own infrastructure architecture direction across the platform
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior infrastructure engineers
• Establish infrastructure standards and patterns for quality and maintenance
• Stay hands-on with prototype work and critical-path components
• Make and be accountable for infrastructure trade-off decisions
