JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Singapore to define the future of reliability. You will lead a team within the Chief Technology Office, Identity & Access Management, driving resilience across multiple tech domains and mentoring engineers.

Expect high-impact work on incident response, architecture, and AI-enabled operations. The role requires strong SRE background, 5+ years experience, and expertise in Python/Java/.NET, CI/CD, and observability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines.
Formal training or certification on Software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance, security, enterprise system architecture, toil reduction, and site reliability best practices.
Fluent in Python, Java/Spring Boot, .NET, PowerShell.

Responsibilities

Champions site reliability culture and shares knowledge via internal forums.
Leads initiatives to improve reliability using data-driven analytics to improve SLIs/OKRs.
Coordinates with stakeholders to define service level indicators and objectives with customers.
Uses enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate major-incident triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis.
Acts as main contact during major incidents to resolve issues quickly and prevent financial loss.
Provides technical mentorship and champions AI-assisted reliability workflows across the SDLC, CI/CD, and operations.
Leads reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted workflows across CI/CD, testing, and operational readiness.
