Job summary

JPMorganChase in Singapore is seeking an Executive Director in DevOps/SRE to set reliability, automation, and resilience strategy for a latency-sensitive trading platform spanning multiple regions.

You will lead cross-functional teams across application engineering, infrastructure, and network, own SLO/SLA and observability, and drive CI/CD, incident management, and governance to deliver production excellence with security and compliance at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/engineering.
• Extensive experience leading DevOps/SRE/Production Engineering initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Experience supporting electronic trading or low-latency environments.
• Accountability for production excellence including incident management and resilience.
• Strong CI/CD experience at scale and multi-region deployments.
• Strong Linux and performance diagnostics skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive DevOps/SRE strategy and roadmap for the Electronic Market Making platform.
• Own governance for significant DevOps/SRE initiatives with clear delivery plans.
• Lead cross-functional delivery across application engineering, infrastructure, network, and platform teams.
• Establish production excellence standards and oversee incident management and post-incident reviews.
• Set and improve resilience practices including automated failover and disaster recovery.
• Own SLO/SLA and observability strategy to ensure uptime and performance transparency.
• Lead CI/CD, release engineering, and multi-region deployment automation.
• Drive developer enablement via internal platforms and self-service tooling.
• Implement and enforce a shared-responsibility operating model for security and compliance.
• Lead and develop DevOps/SRE talent and manage delivery risks.
