Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Support in Private Banking Technology. You will drive SRE tool adoption, partner with Product teams, and help define NFRs and availability targets for services.

You will lead programs enabling NFRs in SDLC lifecycles, promote SRE culture, and work on automation and chaos testing across private and public clouds.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.
3+ years of applied experience in SRE/engineering.
Experience with Python/Java.
Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Private Cloud).
Familiar with observability and SRE practices.
Experience with CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate and promote site reliability principles within the application domain.
Manage production incidents and participate in blameless post-mortems.
Provide flexibility with occasional APAC coverage and after-hours work.
Define non-functional requirements and availability targets for services.
Incorporate NFRs into product design and testing.
Drive automation to reduce toil and deliver end-to-end pipelines.
