Job summary

Tan Tock Seng Hospital is seeking a project professional to plan and manage hospital infrastructure projects. The role focuses on meeting cost, time, and quality targets while ensuring statutory compliance and alignment with corporate goals.

The successful candidate will oversee feasibility studies, budgeting, drawing coordination, and development projects. Strong design/engineering support and record management are essential to deliver projects on schedule and within budgets.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management or Building-related disciplines.
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in management of multi-disciplinary fast-track projects.
• Strong interpersonal communication and organisational skills.
• Good administrative abilities and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct feasibility studies, analysis of infrastructure construction costs, prepare estimated budgets and project schedules.
• Collate, update and administrate building plans and architectural drawings.
• Conduct feasibility studies and concept plans for new facilities.
• Provide design / project engineering support, general technical advice.
• Manage development projects and ensure completions are within the desired time, cost and quality standards.
• Implement controls and procedures for proper documentation of records and plans. Conduct periodic audits on drawings and document control/record management processes.

JOB SUMMARY
Plan and manage the hospital projects to meet cost, time, quality targets,
statutory requirements, corporate goals and objectives, also to ensure that the
specifications meet with statutory requirements.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SPECIFIC
i. Plan and conduct feasibility studies, analysis of infrastructure
construction costs, prepare estimated budgets and project schedules.
ii. Collate, update and administrate building plans and architectural drawings.
iii. Conduct feasibility studies and concept plans for new facilities.
iv. Provide design / project engineering support, general technical advice.
v. Manage development projects and ensure completions are within the

vi. Implement controls and procedures for proper documentation of records
and plans. Conduct periodic audits on drawings and document
control/record management processes.

GENERAL
i) Assist the HOD in cost control as well as the day-to-day general
administration.
ii) Conduct system studies with the view of improving procedures and methods
related to the department.
iii) Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor / Head of Department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION : Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Project
Management or Building-related disciplines.
TRAINING : Familiar with commercial drawing softwares
EXPERIENCE : i) Minimum of 3 years post- graduate experience in
management of multi-disciplinary fast-track
projects and project teams.
ii) A good team player with strong interpersonal
communication and organisation skills.
iii) Good administrative abilities and a high degree of
initiative.
