Job summary

Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) is seeking a Sports and Recreation Executive to oversee our sports and lifestyle facilities and deliver exceptional service to members and guests. The role includes organizing social events and managing daily operations across all recreational facilities.

You will create lesson materials, assist with registrations, handle inquiries, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure events run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Ability to commit to weekend work.
• Experience in organizing or supporting sports and recreational activities.
• Good knowledge of sports operations, rules, and game management.

Responsibilities

• Create and update recreational lessons for publication materials.
• Assist members in recreational program registrations and cancellations.
• Answer inquiries on recreational matters via phone or in person.
• Tabulate and generate monthly invoices for recreational classes.
• Plan and coordinate with internal departments to ensure success of activities.
• Maintain recreational equipment and facilities and ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare budgets for events and monitor annual Profit & Loss.

Job Summary

Sports and Recreation Executive oversees Sports and Lifestyle facilities, delivers quality customer service to members and guests, organizes social events, and manages daily operations across all recreational facilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and update existing Recreational lessons for publication materials.
• Assist members in Recreational program registrations and cancelations.
• Answer incoming calls and attend to enquiries on recreational related matters.
• Tabulate and generate monthly invoices and billings for all recreational classes.
• Plan, organize and co-ordinate with relevant internal departments to ensure the success of activities and social events throughout the club-year.
• Assist members with their enquiries regarding recreational equipment use.
• Build relationships with members and make their recreational experience a pleasant one.
• Ensure the day-to-day operation run smoothly and is operated in an efficient manner in compliance with the Club’s Rules and Bye–Laws.
• Conduct coordinating and progress meetings with other relevant internal departments during the organization of the recreational events.
• Maintain the recreational equipment and facility.
• Prepare a budget for each event / activity and assume responsibility for the annual Profit & Loss
• Ensure the safety of recreational users.
• Plan and execute recreational activities/ programs.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
