Job summary

Sport Singapore is seeking self-motivated individuals to ensure smooth facilities operations, safety management and service excellence for the public. The role involves handling guest enquiries, refunds, bookings, daily financial reconciliations, enforcing pool rules and supporting pump room operations with the Facilities Management team.

Ideal candidates will have fitness studies or sports management background, CPR/AED certification, strong customer focus and the ability to work shifts

Qualifications

• Customer-centric with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong standards towards customer safety in line with SOP.
• Able to perform shift work including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guest enquiry, handle public feedback, process refund and assist daily bookings of respective facilities.
• Perform daily reconciliation of accounts and ensure compliance to financial standard operating procedures.
• Enforce swimming pool rules and regulation to ensure water safety.
• Scan the water and surrounding areas to recognise signs of danger, unsafe behaviour and water conditions to prevent incidents.
• Support swimming pool pump room operations and work with Facilities Management team to ensure pump room equipment are functional.
• Assist in land rescue, through administering first aid/ CPR/ AED and care for the victim if required.
• Assist in the daily gym operations and provide guidance to part-time staff to ensure service excellence delivery.
• Conduct and simple fitness and exercise programmes.
• Support the planning of programmes and promote programmes and events happening across ActiveSG.
• Liaise with external instructor, ensuring adequate time is catered for members to sign up for programme.
• Prepare and set up venue prior to major events/competitions and ensure all facilities and equipment are ready for use.
