Job summary

SMRT TRAINS LTD. is seeking a Specialist, Recruitment on a 1 Year Contract to support high-volume hiring of non-executives and blue-collar workers in Singapore.

You will manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to onboarding, and drive mass hiring initiatives in a fast-paced environment. The role involves sourcing via JobStreet, MyCareersFuture, FastJobs and agencies when needed, aligning with HRBPs, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the journey.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Human Resources, Business or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in high-volume or mass recruitment.
• Strong candidate sourcing and interviewing skills using job portals and recruitment platforms.

Job description

We are looking for a Specialist, Recruitment (1 Year Contract) to support our expanding business and hiring plans, with a primary focus on the high-volume recruitmentof non-executives / blue collar workers .

The successful candidate will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle from start-to-end and support mass hiring initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviews, selection, salary negotiation, offer management and onboarding.
• Drive high-volume recruitment to meet monthly hiring targets.
• Actively source candidates through platforms such as JobStreet, MyCareersFuture, FastJobs and other recruitment channels.
• Collaborate when required, with external recruitment agencies to deliver recruitment targets.
• Keep track and follow up with candidates on documentation for their application via various communication channels
• Develop and experiment with creative recruitment strategies and new sourcing approaches to reach and attract candidates.
• Support weekly recruitment fairs, walk-in interviews, hiring drives and other mass recruitment initiatives, including on-site weekend events whererequired.
• Keep candidates engaged throughout the recruitment journey and deliver a positive candidate experience.
• Support onboarding activities and other recruitment/HR initiatives asrequired.
• Conduct onboarding orientation and induction for new joiners
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and create personnel file prior to onboarding, track KPIs and support recruitment reporting.
• Work closely with HRBPs for recruitment and onboarding requirements, proactively address and resolve issues.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in high-volume or mass recruitment.
• Strong candidate sourcing and interviewing skills, with experience using job portals and recruitment platforms.
• Comfortable managing multiple vacancies and a high volume of candidates in a target-driven environment.
• Creative, proactive and willing to try new recruitment methods to attract candidates.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with SuccessFactors/ATS and Microsoft Lists or Power BI would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and fair employment practices.
• Meticulous, organised and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work weekends when required for recruitment events.
