Qualifications

• Valid Practising Certificate (Mechanical or Electrical).

Responsibilities

• Conduct statutory inspections, examinations, and testing of lift and escalator systems.
• Endorse and sign off inspection reports and PTO certificates.
• Supervise Lift and Escalator Inspectors (LEI).
• Provide technical advisory to clients on compliance and rectification.
• Liaise with building owners, contractors, and authorities.

SGD 8,000 - 12,000 per month (Base + Variable / Profit Sharing)

About the Role

We are seeking a registered Specialist Professional Engineer (SPE - Lift & Escalator/ PE (M or E)) to join our fast-growing statutory inspection practice in Singapore.

This role is ideal for experienced SPE professionals looking for higher earning potential, flexible work arrangements, and a clear pathway towards partnership.

You will play a key role in statutory inspections, PTO certifications, and ensuring compliance with Singapore regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct statutory inspections, examinations, and testing of lift and escalator systems
• Endorse and sign off inspection reports and certificates for Permit-to-Operate (PTO)
• Supervise Lift and Escalator Inspectors (LEI)
• Provide technical advisory to clients on compliance and rectification
• Liaise with building owners, contractors, and authorities
• Ensure compliance with PEB professional standards

Requirements

• Registered Specialist Professional Engineer (SPE - Lift & Escalator) with PEB Singapore
• Valid Practising Certificate (Mechanical or Electrical)
• Strong knowledge of BCA, WSHA, SS550 / SS626
• Experience in statutory inspection and certification work
• Ability to independently endorse PTO submissions
