Job summary

SATS Ltd. in Singapore invites you to join as a Specialised Cargo Intern (ECC+MAIL+BUPHC) at AirFreight Terminal 5.

You will analyze current processes, collect data, and contribute to continuous improvement within a fast-paced logistics environment. You’ll work across departments to create synergies, assist project implementations, and support cost-reduction initiatives under the guidance of the HOD and Operations Managers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyze current processes and collect data for improvements.
• Create synergy between 2-3 departments and propose resource reductions.
• Assist the Head of Department in project implementations.
• Support Operations Managers in innovation and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Help the department achieve Business Unit and Operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Key Requirements

1. Good analytical and critical thinking skills
2. Proficient in MS Office
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
4. Interest in air freight or logistics operations
5. Interest in projects in operations that yields costs savings and process streamlining
6. Advantage if possess any skills or knowledge in data analytics programming (eg python)
7. Self-starter
