Job summary

MIJ Hub Ltd. is seeking a Special Needs Educator Aide to support the lead educator in delivering personalized education to students with diverse learning needs. You will assist in classroom activities, manage daily tasks, and help implement IEPs under guidance.

You will work closely with therapists, staff and parents to maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment and participate in continuous professional development to enhance skills in special education support.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Patience, empathy and understanding for diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication with educators, staff and parents.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Basic knowledge of assistive technology is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Special Needs Educator in preparing lesson materials and maintaining a structured learning environment.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students during lessons.
• Assist with daily care tasks and ensure student safety.
• Collaborate with therapists and staff to coordinate student care and learning.
• Prepare lesson materials and maintain records of attendance and progress.
• Engage in professional development to improve special education support skills.
