Job summary

MIJ Hub seeks a Special Needs Educator to deliver customized educational programs for students aged 4 to 40 with diverse learning needs. You will design, implement, and evaluate individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and parents to drive outcomes.

You will develop differentiated lesson plans, employ assistive technology, monitor progress, and ensure a safe, inclusive classroom environment with strong daily care and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with therapists, counselors and families to design IEPs.
• Ability to develop differentiated lesson plans for diverse learners.
• Expertise in monitoring progress and adjusting plans accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized IEPs for students with special needs.
• Deliver differentiated instruction using adaptive strategies and assistive tech.
• Monitor progress with formative and summative assessments and document milestones.
• Ensure daily care, safety and behavior management in classroom settings.
• Collaborate with therapists and educators, and maintain parent communication.
• Support opening/closing shift duties and maintain a safe learning environment.
