Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. is seeking a Special Education Teacher (Primary) to support students with disabilities within the GAIN framework. You will work in pairs or small groups, observe progress, and collaborate with the educational management and teams.

The role requires a tenured French Ministry of Education teacher, CAPA-SH/CAPPEI, and experience in kindergarten and elementary education. International school experience and English proficiency (B2) are valued, with a strong teamwork mindset and IT

Qualifications

• Tenured teacher certified by the French Ministry of Education.
• CAPA-SH and CAPPEI complementary certifications required.
• Experience teaching children with disabilities.
• Experience in kindergarten and elementary education.
• Preferably international school experience or abroad.
• Knowledge of the French curriculum is a plus.
• Ability to adapt and benevolence.
• Strong teamwork and project involvement.
• Good use of IT education softwares.
• Ability to adapt to Francophone and non-Francophone students.
• English proficiency (B2) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participating in educational team meetings and weekly meetings with Educational management.
• Participating in cycle dialogues to help teachers with differentiation in class, as well creating and monitoring groups based on needs if necessary.
• Designing and implementing assessment methods of students learnings, in liaison with other teachers or professional partners.
• Identifying preschool intervention needs to facilitate primary school integration and early learnings.
• Promoting the socialisation of students in the school.
• Welcoming, informing and meeting students' parents.
• Providing personalised follow-up of students in relation with families and participate in their educational project.
• Contributing to the schools operation and to teamwork.
• Using information and communication technologies to support learnings.

MISSION
The Special Needs Teacher develops specialized assistance practices that are as close as possible to the student's needs and difficulties. It is first of all through observation, attentive listening and teamwork with the teaching and educational teams that h/she tries to get to know the student better, understand him/her and support him/her.

SKILLS,ABILITY AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

• French Ministry of Education tenured teacher
• Complementary certification CAPA-SH, CAPPEI required
• Experience in teaching adapted for children with disabilities
• Experience in kindergarten and elementary education required
• Preferably with experience abroad or in international schools
• Knowledge of French curriculum is a plus
• Ability to adapt and benevolence
• Strong ability to work in a team and to invest in projects
• Good use of IT education softwares
