Job summary

APSN Education Services Ltd. seeks an Educator to assist teachers in planning, developing, delivering and evaluating individualized educational services for special needs students in both self-contained and integrated settings.

You will support classroom management, supervise small groups, and help prepare instructional materials. The role involves collaboration with allied professionals, parents, and external agencies to ensure well-being and effective learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have good time management, problem solving and communication skills.
• Experience educating persons with MID is preferred.
• Knowledge of current special education practices and methodologies.
• Working knowledge of educational technology applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in planning, developing, delivering and evaluating individualized educational services and learning programmes for special needs students.
• Assist teachers in managing students in classrooms and community activities.
• Supervise and assist students in activities and tasks set by teachers.
• Prepare instructional materials and classroom environments for lessons.
• Support students with MID, Autism and other developmental disabilities to develop skills.
• Collaborate with committees to plan school-wide educational and recreational programmes.
• Consult with allied professionals, parents/caregivers and external agencies to ensure student well-being.
