Job summary

AirTrunk Singapore is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead data centre operations across the portfolio, ensuring 24x7 uptime, adherence to SLAs, and overall performance. You will report to the Data Centre Directors and collaborate with site teams to drive efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a critical facilities environment.
• 3+ years experience directly managing employees.
• Procurement and contract negotiation experience.
• Leadership and communication skills to interpret complex operational documents.
• Ability to produce and review Method of Procedure documents and incident reports.
• Ability to present on data centre operations to customers and management.
• Experience managing CAPEX/OPEX budgets and variance analytics.
• Proficiency with MS Office, BMS, and CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data centre operations ensuring 24x7 uptime and compliance with SLAs.
• Act as escalation contact for emergencies affecting data centre services.
• Support Directors and site teams with emergency responses, resource coordination, and root cause analysis.
• Develop relationships with customer operations management contacts.
• Produce detailed reports for stakeholders, including post-event remediation.
• Manage contracts with 3rd party vendors (FM, Smart Hands, Security) and ensure compliance.
• Lead internal audits of SOPs and maintenance standards.
• Review and approve Method of Procedures (MOPs) and support safety/documentation compliance.
• Ensure adherence to security programs and accreditation requirements (ISO 27001, SOC 1/2).
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting (OPEX/CAPEX).
• Present improvements and business cases to management for financial efficiency.
