Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is recruiting a Procurement Specialist to source suppliers, compare quotations, and drive cost analyses. The role covers BOM costing, supplier performance, and collaboration with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Sales teams.

You will negotiate terms, monitor costs, and support budgeting and inventory planning while ensuring policy compliance. This is an on-site position in the Changi area.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of costing, sourcing, procurement experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in sourcing precision machining or sheet metal.
• Strong BOM costing and product cost analysis knowledge.
• Familiar with RFQ/RFP processes, supplier selection, and vendor management.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP/MRP.
• Able to liaise with overseas counterparts in China (Suzhou) and Malaysia.
• Able to work with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Planning, Sales).

• Support procurement, budgeting, and inventory planning initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with sourcing and purchasing policies.

Requirements

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in costing, sourcing, procurement, or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in sourcing precision machining or sheet metal
• Strong knowledge of BOM (Bill of Materials) costing and product cost analysis.
• Familiarity with RFQ/RFP processes, supplier selection, and vendor management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP
• Ability to liaise with overseas counterparts - China - Suzhou, Malaysia.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Production, Planning, and Sales
