Job summary

The GMP Group in Singapore is hiring for a procurement professional to manage sourcing, cost analysis, and supplier relations within a manufacturing setting.

You will evaluate suppliers, perform BOM costing, and drive cost-saving initiatives while ensuring adherence to purchasing policies. This role is based at Changi and offers a monthly salary up to SGD 4,500 depending on experience and scope.

Qualifications

• Diploma in SCM or related field with 2–5 years in costing, sourcing or procurement in manufacturing.
• Experience in precision machining or sheet metal sourcing, BOM costing and product cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers; request quotations and compare pricing.
• Prepare cost analyses and product cost breakdowns to support decisions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules for favourable outcomes.
• Monitor material costs and identify cost-saving opportunities with suppliers.
• Support procurement, budgeting and inventory planning per policies.

• Support procurement, budgeting, and inventory planning while ensuring compliance with sourcing and purchasing policies.

Requirement:

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, with 2–5 years of relevant experience in costing, sourcing, or procurement within manufacturing

• Experience in precision machining or sheet metal sourcing, BOM costing, product cost analysis, RFQ/RFP processes, supplier selection, and vendor management.
