Job summary

Raffles Hotel Singapore is seeking a professional Sommelier to deliver exceptional wine service at 1887 by André and assist the Head Sommelier in daily operations. You will engage guests, recommend pairings and maintain wine stock with meticulous care.

Essentials include wine knowledge, excellent service, and strong English communication. You will collaborate with the Culinary, Catering Sales and Service teams to ensure seamless, memorable dining experiences while upholding Accor values.

Qualifications

• Hospitality certificate or diploma required.
• Wine certificate (e.g., Court of Master Sommeliers, WSET Level 3) preferred.
• 1–2 years in a wine service position or similar operations.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Offer wine options and take wine orders.
• Serve wine in correct condition and maintain mise-en-place.
• Upsell wine by the glass and bottle.
• Greet and farewell guests in a friendly manner.
• Coordinate with Culinary and Service teams to ensure efficiency.
