Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Partnerships Technical Lead to drive pre‑sales conversations with merchants and service providers. You will translate partner needs into feasible solutions, produce integration guides and API references, and shepherd integrations from kickoff to launch.

This role requires strong API literacy and cross‑functional collaboration across time zones. The ideal candidate has experience in payments, fintech, or API‑led environments, with fluency in Chinese and English to

Qualifications

• Fluent in Chinese and English for cross‑regional collaboration.
• Comfortable reading and interpreting API documentation.
• Knowledge of common integration methods (API, H5, SDK) and the financial operations behind clearing and settlement.
• Able to translate partner needs into a solution and clearly document it for technical and business audiences.
• Experience leading external technical meetings independently and coordinating with internal teams across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Represent product and technology in meetings with merchants and service providers, and run them independently.
• Turn a partner's early requirements into a feasibility assessment and solution design, with written materials that support the business decision.
• Take standard integrations from kickoff to go-live: provide integration docs and test environments, answer technical questions, and drive joint testing to launch.
• Build and maintain the materials partners rely on, including integration guides, API references, and FAQs.
• Move partner requests through product, engineering, compliance, and business teams until each one closes.
• Cover partnerships across financial accounts, fiat channels, OTC, and value-added services.

Every partnership starts with a technical conversation: what the partner needs, whether we can support it, and how quickly they can go live. You'll be the external face of that conversation across several business lines, from financial accounts and fiat channels to OTC and value-added services. You'll assess feasibility early, shape the solution, and take partners from first call through testing to launch. Within 12 months, partners onboard faster, documentation answers common questions before they're asked, and product, engineering, compliance, and business teams receive clear requirements instead of loose requests.

What you'll bring

• Has worked in solutions, pre-sales, technical support, or business-technical liaison at a payments, fintech, or API-led company, and reads API documentation comfortably
• Knows the common integration methods (API, H5, SDK) and the technical steps behind clearing, settlement, and reconciliation
• Turns a partner's needs into a solution others can evaluate, and writes it up clearly
• Leads external technical meetings independently and brings internal teams along; bilingual in Chinese and English, across time zones
