Job summary

PIXEL AUTOMATION PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced engineer to translate customer requirements into robust machine designs.

You will develop simulations and 3D models, prepare comprehensive design specs, and drive reviews with internal teams and customers to ensure alignment with project schedules and quality standards. The role involves updating drawings, BOMs, and part lists, supporting fabrication and assembly, and mentoring junior engineers as needed to align technical direction with

Responsibilities

Understand design specifications based on customer requirements, goals and strategies; develop concepts and models to support design concepts.
Prepare design specification sheets and circulate updated information to relevant parties.
Conduct cycle time studies to select appropriate machine/module designs; create 3D models with manufacturability, cost, quality and safety in mind.
Lead internal design reviews to present modules to other departments and obtain feedback.
Lead design reviews with customers to align project schedules and expectations.
Revise designs and documents after internal and external reviews; update drawings and BOM accordingly.
Create and update flow charts and part/assembly drawings, obtain manager approval.
Generate BOMs for assigned modules and release drawings for quotations; provide standard part lists for pricing.
