Job summary

Pixel Automation PTE. LTD. seeks a Manager - Mechanical Designer to lead the mechanical design team and drive state-of-the-art machine development. You will translate customer needs into robust design concepts, generate 3D models, drawings, and BOMs, and collaborate across departments to meet project timelines.

The role involves hands-on design work, reviews with internal teams and customers, and ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design team.
• Translate customer requirements into design specs and concepts.
• Create design specs sheets and distribute to stakeholders.
• Perform cycle time studies and develop 3D models for manufacturing.
• Lead internal and customer design reviews on schedule.
• Create BOMs, drawings, and release files for quoting.
• Support fabrication and assembly with design issue resolutions.
• Keep quality standards and safety in line with company policies.
• Coach junior engineers and guide technical direction.
