Job summary

QUESS SELECTION & SERVICES PTE. LTD. seeks a seasoned logistics solutions professional to lead RFQ/RFP activities, gather requirements, analyze data, and develop costed solutions.

You will design innovative warehousing, transportation, and supply chain models aligned with client objectives. You will also perform financial modelling, create business cases, and build compelling proposals to support recommendations to regional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level education in engineering, supply chain, or business is required.
• Experience with RFQ/RFP processes, costing, and solution design is essential.
• Strong data analytics and financial modelling abilities are expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support RFQ/RFP activities, including requirement gathering, data analysis, costing, and solution development.
• Design innovative and customized warehousing, transportation, and supply chain solutions aligned with client objectives.
• Translate operational requirements into scalable and efficient logistics models.

Analysis & Financial Modelling

• Perform detailed operational calculations, resource planning, productivity analysis, and cost modelling.
• Develop financial business cases and pricing structures to support solution recommendations.
• Utilize advanced Excel tools and data analytics to drive decision-making and solution accuracy.

Proposal Development

• Prepare professional and compelling proposals, presentations, and solution documentation.
• Clearly articulate solution benefits, operational assumptions, and implementation approaches.
• Support client presentations, solution discussions, and business development initiatives.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Analyze logistics processes and productivity drivers to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, automation trends, and best practices within supply chain and warehousing operations.
• Contribute innovative ideas that enhance operational efficiency and customer value.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with operations, business development, engineering, finance, and international teams to develop best-fit solutions.
• Coordinate with regional and global stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Studies , or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or solution design environments.
• Proven experience managing RFQs, solution costing, warehouse design, or logistics implementation projects.
• Experience in 3PL, contract logistics, e-commerce fulfillment, or supply chain consulting will be advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint .
• Strong financial acumen with experience in costing and business case development.
• Solid understanding of warehousing operations, productivity metrics, and logistics processes.
• Keen interest in automation, digitalization, and innovative supply chain technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with regional or international teams.
