Job summary

JD WORKS PTE. LTD. is seeking a PV Engineering Designer to lead system design and technical decisions for rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects in Singapore.

You will apply AutoCAD for electrical single-line diagrams and layouts, perform feasibility studies, shading analysis, and load calculations, and optimize string design using PVsyst. You will manage end-to-end project execution, coordinate with clients and authorities, prepare BOM, and ensure compliance with SP, SCDF, BCA, URA, JTC,

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in PV system design principles, specifications, and regulatory standards.
• Experience conducting site feasibility studies, shading analysis, and system capacity/load calculations.
• Experience designing rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems using AutoCAD for electrical single-line diagrams, module layouts, and structural layouts.

Responsibilities

• Design PV systems and make technical decisions for projects, including rooftop and ground-mounted installations.
• Oversee end-to-end project execution, including installation, testing, and commissioning, with a focus on quality and safety.
• Prepare project costing sheets, BOMs, and technical specifications, and coordinate with clients, consultants, and authorities.
• Coordinate material preparation, logistics, and supplier communications to ensure timely delivery.
