Job summary

KIBING SOLAR ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Solar EPC Project Engineer to manage PV projects from planning and design through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.

The role includes developing procedures, technical standards, and a vendor network while ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety requirements. Travel to project sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a relevant engineering field.
• At least three years of solar PV/EPC project experience.
• Experience managing solar projects from design through handover.
• Ability to read technical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Familiarity with Singapore electrical and safety requirements.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage solar PV projects from site assessment to commissioning and handover.
• Conduct site surveys and develop or review system layouts, single-line diagrams, equipment specifications and bills of materials.
• Plan project schedules, budgets, resources and risk-control measures.
• Coordinate clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, LEWs, PEs and relevant stakeholders.
• Manage equipment procurement, material delivery and site installation.
• Monitor project progress, cost, quality and safety.
• Ensure compliance with approved designs, applicable regulations and Workplace Safety and Health requirements.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and system-performance verification.
• Conduct detailed site survey and modify solar PV system designs that meet client requirements, local codes, and industry standards.
• Prepare project reports, as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals and handover documents.
• Provide technical support for quotations, tenders and client presentations.
• Develop practical project workflows, technical standards and vendor resources.

KEY JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking an experienced Solar EPC Project Engineer to manage solar PV projects from planning and system design through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.

The successful candidate will also help establish the company’s solar project procedures, technical standards and vendor network.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONREQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related discipline.
• At least three years of relevant solar PV or EPC project experience.
• Experience managing solar projects from design through commissioning and handover.
• Knowledge of PV modules, inverters, mounting systems, electrical systems and solar monitoring solutions.
• Ability to read technical drawings, system layouts and single-line diagrams.
• Familiarity with applicable Singapore electrical, regulatory and safety requirements.
• Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers, LEWs, PEs and clients.
• Strong project-management, problem-solving and communication skills.
• AutoCAD, PVsyst, HelioScope or equivalent software experience is an advantage.
• Able to travel to project sites when required.
