Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a qualified candidate for a permanent automation engineering role in Singapore. The successful applicant will be responsible for research and development, machine design, programming, and training. Candidates should possess at least a diploma in a relevant field with 3-5 years of experience in automation control design. Strong proficiency in CAD software and the ability to work independently are essential. The role operates from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm.

Job description

Permanent
Woodlands
Monday to Friday (8.30am to 6pm)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for research and development work.
• Design machine based on project specifications.
• Generate process flow chart, electrical panel drawings, electrical circuit and BOM lists.
• PLC, HMI, PC and Robotic programming.
• Conduct factory acceptance test and site acceptance test.
• Conduct machine operation and maintenance training.
• Create operation and maintenance manual for machines designed.
• Ensure given tasks complete within given timeline.
• Liaise with suppliers on components selection and quotation.
• Train, supervise and assist Control Engineer.
• Guide and check technical drawing from the junior
• Work independently to complete robotic projects
• Confidently handle automation project
• Be familiar with robotics solution

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, Robotics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of automation control design or programming experience.
• Proficient in Electrical design CAD software.
• Proven ability to complete tasks given independently.
