Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Robotics Engineer in Singapore. The role involves reviewing processes and implementing automation to improve efficiency. Job description

• Permanent
• Salary up to $2,800 / $4000 + AWS + VB / $2800 + AWS + VB
• 5 days work week

Responsibilities:

• Review existing processes and implement robots / automation for process improvement and difficult tasks.
• Writing specifications for robots / automation implementation / purchase
• Evaluate proposal and recommend to management.
• See through installation and commissioning till handover to Operations and resolve problems if arises.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure optimised systems.
• Train technicians on the robots / automation usage.
• Assist and supervise engineers / technicians in troubleshooting of robots / automation systems.
• Active & Hands-on role to ensure all engineering problems are resolved timely.

Period:

• Permanent
• $2400 - $4000 + AWS + VB

Working Hours:

• Mon to Fri 8.00am to 5.30pm

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechatronics & Robotics / Mechanical or higher.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant hands‑on industry experience.
• Usage of computer‑aided software design and drafting (eg CAD / Solidworks etc) systems to perform tasks.
• Proficient in using CMM and scanning devices.
• Knowledge in programming robots, automated systems, PLC etc.
• Work closely with engineers / technicians to understand the requirements and constraints.
• Knowledge of sensors, actuators and vision systems.
• Effective communicator, both written and oral.
