Job summary

IKAS INTERNATIONAL (ASIA) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager in Singapore to lead a high-performance team of software engineers. You will drive architecture decisions, implement scalable microservices, and ensure delivery across the full SDLC.

You will mentor engineers, partner with cross-functional teams, and champion Agile practices while advancing cloud-first initiatives using AWS. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years in an engineering leadership or management role.
• Hands-on experience with Golang, Java, ReactJs, and AWS.
• Experience designing and building microservices-based architectures.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native development.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern engineering practices.
• Proven ability to lead multiple engineering initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years in an engineering leadership or management role.
