Job summary

Sanderson-Ikas is seeking an experienced Engineering Leader in Singapore to define a clear engineering vision and drive delivery across scalable full-stack systems.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with stakeholders, and lead modernization efforts while staying hands-on with core code paths.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Proven leadership and ability to align teams to goals.
• Experience with modern full-stack tech stacks and scalable systems.
• Exposure to AI and DevOps is a plus.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

• Experience building and scaling high-availability software systems
• Minimum 10 years of full-stack software engineering experience
• Proficiency in modern full-stack technologies - ideally React/Next.js and Java/TypeScript/Golang
• Experience with AI and DevOps would be plus
• Strong technical leadership and the soft skills that build trust and alignment
• Passion for engineering excellence and thoughtful software craftsmanship
• Motivation to create public impact through technology
• Proven ability to guide teams toward shared goals and outcomes
• Experience leading/mentoring developers and supporting their growth
• Experience leading legacy system modernization projects, including transitioning legacy systems to modern platforms is a distinct advantage
