Job summary

Maestro Human Resource Pte Ltd is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Node.js, React.js, JavaScript, and Java in Singapore.

The role covers database design (MongoDB, DB2, SQL Server), API development, system integration, and UI/UX design. You will perform testing, code reviews, and production support, with a 5-day week near One-North MRT and preference for Singaporeans.

Software Development

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications using technologies such as Node.js, React.js, JavaScript, and Java.

Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable application components following industry best practices.

Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and software quality requirements.

Database Design and Development

Design, develop, and optimize database solutions using both NoSQL and relational database technologies.

Work with databases such as MongoDB, IBM DB2, and Microsoft SQL Server.

Develop efficient queries, indexes, and data models to support application performance and scalability.

System Integration and API Development

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and integration interfaces with external systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve interface-related issues involving upstream and downstream systems.

Support end-to-end integration testing and deployment activities.

Requirements Analysis and Documentation (Optional)

Conduct requirement gathering and clarification sessions with customers and stakeholders.

Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Analyze and remediate findings from Static Application Security Testing (SAST) tools such as SonarQube.

Support vulnerability assessment and remediation activities arising from Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) tools such as Fortify.

Ensure applications comply with security, quality, and coding standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and project teams to support secure application deployment and operations.
