Job summary

Beyondsoft International (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is hiring a software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain applications across SEA and European markets.

You will work on cloud-native solutions, implement Security by Design, and support CI/CD pipelines in a regulated environment. Required skills include Java, C++, Python or Node.js, HTML/CSS, and experience with DevOps tooling, GitOps, and containerised deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with Java, C++, Python or Node.js, HTML or CSS.
• Familiarity with Windows, UNIX, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, etc.
• Familiarity with a DevOps environment focusing on automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code, ideally in a regulated setting.
• Experience with testing/validation platforms for real-time software/safety-critical systems.
• Building or supporting cloud-native apps for virtualised/containerised deployment.
• Knowledge of Open Source tools and OSS evaluation.
• Understanding of Security by Design concepts in Software Engineering.
• Source Code Management and GitOps principles, pipeline automation.
• Data parsing, ETL, and Stream Management solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test and maintain software applications according to approved requirements and architecture

• Conduct code reviews, unit testing and defect fixing, and support integration and acceptance testing
• Evaluate COTS and open source components and recommend suitable options
• Prepare technical documentation and provide L3 technical support for deployed applications

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in software development using programming languages like Java, C++, Python or Node.js, HTML, CSS
• Familiarity with different Operating Systems, for example Windows, UNIX, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, etc.
• Familiarity with DevOps environment, with a focus on automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code, preferably within a regulated environment
• Experience with testing and validation platforms for real-time software applications and/or safety-critical systems
• Building and/or supporting cloud-native applications for virtualised and/or containerised deployment
• Knowledge of Open Source tools within the domain, and COTS & Open Source Software evaluation
• Understanding of Security by Design concepts and implementation in Software Engineering
• Source Code Management and GitOps principles, pipeline automation
• Data parsing & manipulation, Extract, Transform and Load solutions and Stream Management solutions
