Job summary

Beyondsoft is seeking a software engineer in Singapore to develop and maintain C-based software and UI applications with hardware and firmware integration.

You will collaborate across software, firmware, hardware, QA, and product teams, perform validation, debugging, and documentation, and support deployment and production issues. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years' experience in software development or system integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/Software/CE or related field.
• Min 2 years software development or system integration experience.
• Strong proficiency in C; familiarity with C++ and Python is an advantage.
• Experience in UI development and hardware/firmware integration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C-based software and UI applications with integration to hardware and firmware.
• Implement, integrate, test, debug, and troubleshoot software features and hardware/software interfaces.
• Investigate defects and integration issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, hardware, QA, and product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform software validation and regression testing, and maintain technical documentation.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide support for software deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and production issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of software development or system integration experience.
• Strong proficiency in C programming; experience with C++ and scripting languages (e.g., Python) is an advantage.
• Experience in UI development and hardware/firmware integration is preferred.
• Familiarity with debugging, testing, version control, APIs, and software integration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional engineering team.
