Job summary

Beyondsoft Singapore is seeking an experienced software engineer to provide hands-on technical leadership within Agile teams. You will design, develop, test, and deliver software controlling advanced DNA sequencing instruments, and lead architecture and implementation for scalable, maintainable solutions.

You will participate in the full Agile lifecycle, troubleshoot complex defects, and drive design reviews to uphold engineering standards and product quality across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in any discipline.
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented languages, preferably C#.
• Deep experience designing, developing, and maintaining asynchronous .NET applications in production-quality environments.
• Experience designing and implementing REST-based services and APIs.
• Experience with front-end technologies and/or front-end frameworks, such as Angular and React.
• Experience with writing well-structured unit test codes.
• Ability to produce clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code that meets product requirements and long-term support needs.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software defects and technical issues in a timely and structured manner.
• Drive software design and code reviews to ensure adherence to engineering best practices, coding standards, testability, maintainability, and product quality expectations.
• Coordinate effectively with local and remote team members to promote clear communication, technical alignment, knowledge sharing, and timely execution across distributed development activities.
