Job summary

Ethos Search Associates Pte. Ltd. is seeking a technically skilled engineer for a 1-year renewable position at Changi Business Park.

You will develop Python-based scripts, automation tools, lightweight applications, dashboards, and data workflows for semiconductor test development. The role includes testing and validation of tools and AI-assisted outputs, with a focus on actionable insights from engineering data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Python scripting and automation experience.
• Proficient in testing practices (unit/integration/regression).
• Knowledge of AI tools, LLM workflows, and RAG concepts.
• Understanding of digital electronics fundamentals and hardware/software interaction.
• Willingness to learn data analytics and derive engineering insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python-based scripts, automation tools, dashboards, and data workflows for semiconductor test development.
• Test/validate tools, workflows, dashboards, and AI-assisted outputs.
• Review engineering data and logs to identify trends, bottlenecks, and insights.
• Develop prototype AI-assisted tools and LLM-based applications.
• Clarify requirements, iterate on prototypes, and document reusable solutions.

Job description

This will be a 1-year renewable position based in Changi Business Park

Responsibilities

• Develop Python-based scripts, automation tools, lightweight applications, dashboards, and data workflows for semiconductor test development use cases.
• Testing/validation of developed tools, automation workflows, dashboards, and AI-assisted outputs.
• Review and analyzing of engineering data, logs, test results, and workflow metrics to identify trends, anomalies, bottlenecks, and actionable insights.
• Develop prototype AI-assisted tools, LLM-based applications, RAG/knowledge assistants, automation agents, or productivity solutions
• Understand open-ended problems, clarify requirements, iterate on prototypes, and document solutions for reuse.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Python programming skills with experience in scripting, automation, data processing, and practical tool development.
• Proficient with software testing and validation practices, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and black-box/white-box testing.
• Strong knowledge of AI tools and concepts, including prompt engineering, LLM-based workflows, AI-assisted automation, AI agents, and retrieval-augmented generation systems.
• Sound knowledge of digital electronics fundamentals such as logic design, timing concepts, registers, buses, and basic hardware/software interaction.
• Open to learning/using data analytics, including exploring datasets, identify patterns, and convert raw data into useful engineering insights.

Advantageous experience to have

• Building AI-assisted tools, LLM-based applications, RAG/knowledge assistants, automation agents, chatbots, or data-driven productivity solutions.
• Dashboards or analytics tools such as Power BI, Streamlit, Plotly, Dash, SQL, APIs, or data pipelines.
• Semiconductor test, silicon validation, FPGA/ASIC workflows, ATE, bench validation, scan, MBIST, functional test, or hardware debug concepts.
• C, C++ Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog, simulation outputs, or test pattern concepts.
