Wise is seeking a Software Engineer for the Spend Squad in Singapore. You will ship direct customer touch points on high-growth products, focusing on the core cards flow and onboarding experiences for new users.

You will code in Java 17+ with Spring, work with React on frontend, design relational schemas, and help drive testable code and CI/CD practices. The role includes RSUs and a competitive monthly SGD base.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on backend development experience.
• Strong product mindset with focus on user experience and data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience writing testable code and practicing Test Driven Development.
• Adherence to best coding practices, code reviews, and open feedback.
