Job summary

Wise is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (IC3) to join the Platform Issuance team in Singapore. You will drive features that accelerate onboarding, optimize liquidity, combat fraud, and deliver card analytics, working with PMs, Analysts, and Engineers to determine what to build and how to build it.

In this role, you will own end-to-end delivery, ensuring scalable, observable, and secure systems while focusing on the partner experience and easy-to-consume APIs.

Qualifications

• Experience building microservices, event-driven architectures, relational databases, and well-designed APIs.
• Ability to design and build resilient and scalable systems.
• Commitment to maintainable, well-tested software with observable operations and proactive debt management.

Responsibilities

• Drive features that accelerate onboarding, optimize liquidity, combat fraud, and deliver card analytics.
• Work in an autonomous, cross-functional team with PMs, Analysts, and Engineers to decide what to build and how to build it.
• Take end-to-end ownership of impactful projects from problem shaping through delivery, rollout, measurement, and roadmap planning.
