Job summary

Tower Research Capital in Singapore is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and build a high-frequency trading platform. You will work on low-latency networking, data access, and trading simulations to empower trading teams worldwide.

We expect strong C++ fundamentals, familiarity with Linux, Python, and scripting, and a passion for performance, reliability, and scale in a cutting-edge financial technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Past internship with C++ development, preferably in trading, is a plus.
• Strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++.
• Knowledge of Blockchain, cryptography, cryptocurrency, and Defi protocols.
• Knowledge of high-throughput systems.
• Brilliant problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Good understanding of Linux OS and Networking (TCP/IP and UDP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python and shell scripting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing a high-frequency trading platform, which includes collecting quotes and trades from and disseminating orders to exchanges around the world.
• Optimizing this platform by using network and systems programming, as well as other advanced techniques to minimize latency.
• Developing systems that provide easy access to historical market data and trading simulations.
• Creating tools to analyze data for patterns.
• Building risk-management and performance-tracking tools
