Job summary

Morgan McKinley in Singapore is seeking a skilled software engineer for a 12-month contract to drive technical design proposals and collaborate with product, design, support and cross-functional teams to refine project specs.

You will design, implement and test complex features, deliver on release timelines, build consumer products at scale, and align with development standards, partnering with Product, Platform and Operations to scale automated platforms.

Job Duration:

Responsibilities:

• Drive technical design proposals and effectively communicate complex features and systems in detail.
• Work closely with product, design, Support and other cross functional teams to define and refine project specifications.
• Technical design, implement and test (unit and end to end) complex project features and ensure hitting the project release timeline.
• Create consumer products and features on a large scale
• Master Meta’s development standards from developing to releasing code in order to take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity
• Partner closely with Product, Platform and Operations teams to build and scale a fully automated platform for operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC) of full-stack projects with industry-wide impact
• Experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions
• Experience in working effectively with and influencing senior engineers across organizations
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects within a specified timeline
• Proficient with decentralized source control management tools such as Git and Mercurial within a large team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor or advanced degrees in Computer Science or STEM fields
• Experience developing an enterprise product built with high quality
• Experience developing large and complex SQL queries, with low execution times
• Experience with multiple dynamic and compiled programming languages in production environments is a plus
• Any experience is a Support organization is also a plus
• Experience with building privacy and ads related products is a big plus
