Job summary

MORGAN MCKINLEY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a mid-level full-stack software engineer to drive technical design, build scalable front-end interfaces and backend systems using JavaScript, Python, and PHP (Hack).

You will partner with product, design, operations and support to refine project specs, implement automated testing, and deliver high-quality, globally scalable features on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or STEM preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in full-stack software development across SDLC.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and deadline-driven delivery.
• Proficiency with Git or Mercurial and modern JS frameworks (React/Vue/Angular).
• Experience building enterprise products, writing optimized SQL queries, and using multiple languages.

Responsibilities

Our client is a leading Multi technology Social Media company. This is a 12 month contract role.

JobResponsibilities:

• Drive technical design proposals and build scalable front-end interfaces, underlying APIs, and backend systems using languages such as JavaScript, Python, and PHP (Hack).
• Partner closely with Product, Design, Operations, and Support teams to refine project specifications and build fully automated operational platforms.
• Implement and rigorously test (unit and E2E) complex features, ensuring high code quality while consistently meeting target release timelines.
• Architect, launch, and optimize high-visibility consumer products and features designed for massive global scale.
• Master internal development and deployment standards to drive end-to-end delivery of increasingly complex engineering projects.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or a STEM field preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in full-stack software development, including the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of large-scale projects.
• Proven experience collaborating across functions, influencing senior engineers, and delivering complex engineering projects within deadlines.
• Proficiency in Git or Mercurial and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Experience developing high-quality enterprise products, writing optimized SQL queries, and working with multiple programming languages in production environments.
