Job summary

SALT Talent Search PTE. LTD. is seeking a Software Engineer (Full Stack) for a 12-month renewable contract with a leading social media client in Singapore.

You will design, develop, and scale consumer-facing applications across front-end and back-end, using modern JavaScript frameworks. You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with Product, Design, Platform and Operations, and help raise engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions.
• Experience in working effectively with and influencing senior engineers across organizations.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects within a specified timeline.
• Experience in driving large cross-functional/industry-wide engineering efforts.
• Proficient with decentralized source control management tools such as Git and Mercurial within a large team environment.
• Proficient with React/Vue/Angular and/or other similar modern JavaScript framework.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical design proposals and effectively communicate complex features and systems in detail.
• Work closely with product, design, Support and other cross functional teams to define and refine project specifications.
• Technical design, implement and test (unit and end to end) complex project features and ensure hitting the project release timeline.
• Design and develop front-end interfaces, underlying APIs, or backend systems across a number of programming languages such as JavaScript, PHP(Hack)/Python.
• Create consumer products and features on a large scale.
• Master client's development standards from developing to releasing code in order to take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity.
• Partner closely with Product, Platform and Operations teams to build and scale a fully automated platform for operations.
