Job summary

Quess Selection & Services in Singapore is seeking a capable application development/technical project coordination professional. You will collaborate with delivery and infrastructure teams to develop and implement applications that meet business needs, while overseeing BAU activities to keep systems stable and efficient.

You will liaise with users and vendors to resolve issues promptly, test server and network upgrades, and apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills across Linux/Windows

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in Application Development or technical project coordination
• Understanding of infrastructure and SDLC
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management
• Knowledge of SDLC models (Waterfall and Agile)
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows environments
• Insurance domain knowledge is a plus
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of SQL and databases
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman
• Capable of independent work and cross-functional collaboration
• Hands-on Linux/Unix experience is a plus
• Experience with vendor collaboration to resolve issues

Job description

Salary: Up to SGD 6200 (Depending on overall skills and experience)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will work with delivery manager to develop and implement applications to support Business needs.
• Liaise with the infrastructure support and development teams.
• Oversee Business-As-Usual (BAU) activities, ensuring the stability and efficiency of the company’s applications.
• Collaborate with users and vendors to promptly address and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Work with our infrastructure team to test and complete various server and network upgrade projects.

REQUIREMENTS

• Between 2 - 4 years of Application Development or technical project coordination
• Good understanding of infrastructure and software development life cycle.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management processes.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle models (both Waterfall and Agile).
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows environments.
• Insurance domain knowledge is an advantage
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Able to contribute individually and collaborate well with cross-functional team.
• Hands-on experience in Linux, Unix is an added advantage.
• Experience in working with vendors to resolve complex technical issues is an added advantage.
• Proactive individual who takes ownership and drives tasks through to completion.
