Job summary

Velox Networks PTE LTD is hiring a Software Engineer in Singapore to develop and support cloud-based VoIP and web technologies. You’ll work hands-on across multiple engineering areas, delivering robust solutions for customers.

You’ll collaborate with a lean, remote-friendly team, own tasks from design to deployment, and continuously learn new technologies while refining existing systems and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Node.js, REST APIs and HTML/CSS.
• Experience with at least one of MySQL, DynamoDB or AWS RDS.
• Basic AWS knowledge and cloud navigation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced remote environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Software Engineer, you’ll work on both developing and supporting cloud-based VoIP and web technologies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work and wants exposure to multiple areas of engineering.

Your responsibilities include:

• Developing and improving cloud-based VoIP and web applications
• Building and integrating REST APIs
• Working with Node.js, databases, and front-end technologies
• Supporting and optimizing existing systems and infrastructure
• Assisting in DevOps, system maintenance, and technical troubleshooting
• Collaborating with internal teams to deliver effective technical solutions
• Continuously learning new technologies and contributing ideas to improve products and processes

What We’re Looking For
