Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Software Specialist to lead full‑stack teams and deliver scalable software solutions from concept to production. You will shape architectures, guide frontend and backend development with React/TypeScript and Python, and drive API design (REST/GraphQL) in an Agile environment.

You will mentor engineers, participate in design reviews, and collaborate with sales for technically sound proposals.

Qualifications

• Advanced to fluent English for international environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong frontend development experience using React, including TypeScript and the broader React ecosystem.
• Strong backend development experience using Python, with frameworks such as FastAPI and/or Django.
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs, including GraphQL query optimization.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong experience writing high-performance SQL queries and optimizing data access.
• Advanced knowledge of Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code review workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with modern software architectures, including: Docker containers, Microservices, Microfrontend architectures.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, Clean Code, and Clean Architecture principles.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design logical, scalable, and efficient software solutions.
• Excellent communication, technical leadership, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for technical improvements and innovation across projects.
• Mentor software engineers at different experience levels, fostering technical growth and engineering excellence.
• Promote knowledge sharing through technical training, architecture discussions, and lessons-learned sessions.
• Contribute to engineering knowledge management by defining and maintaining technical standards, best practices, documentation, and development guidelines.
• Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable software solutions.

• Knowledge of observability practices and tools, including logging, metrics, tracing, and application monitoring.
